Search and filter tickets
Find relevant tickets, save useful filters, and understand why a ticket may be missing from your current view.
Search and filters help you focus on part of a QA/QC report. They change which tickets you see; they do not edit or delete tickets. Start in the review's Tickets tab.
Find a ticket with search
Enter a ticket number, such as T-001, or a phrase in Search tickets. Search matches text in the ticket's title, description, recommendation, or ID. Capitalization does not matter.
Search also respects the current filters and review mode. If a ticket number returns no result, clear other filters and check the review mode. Use the Sheet Name and Number filter to find tickets linked to a particular sheet.
Clear the search text to remove the search condition.
Start with a quick filter
The buttons beside the search field are shortcuts to saved filter conditions. The defaults are:
- Critical: tickets with Critical priority.
- High: tickets with High priority.
- Assigned to me: tickets assigned to your signed-in account.
- Pending: tickets with status None or Accepted.
- Completed: tickets with status Completed.
Select a quick filter to apply it. Select an active one again to remove its conditions. Quick filters can combine: Assigned to me plus Pending shows your outstanding work.
Selecting Critical and High includes either priority. It does not require a ticket to have both.
Combine filters
- Select Filter beside Search.
- Choose Include to show matches or Exclude to hide matches.
- Choose a field, then select its values.
- Add another field if you need to narrow the result further.
Common fields are Status, Priority, Labels, Assignees, and Sheet Name and Number. Discipline is available when the review has the required sheet information. Some options depend on the tickets in the current review scope.
Within one field, a ticket can match any selected value. Across different Include fields, it must match each field. For example, Priority: Critical or High plus Assignees: Me shows tickets assigned to you with either priority.
Exclude removes tickets matching its selected values. For example, excluding Status: Completed removes completed tickets from the result. Selecting Rejected or Cancelled as additional excluded values removes those too.
To find high-priority work for a discipline, include Priority: High, then select the discipline. Choose Critical as well if you want both levels. A ticket can belong to more than one discipline when it links to several sheets.
When switching between Include and Exclude quick presets, check the resulting filters: applying a preset clears conditions in the opposite mode. Use the Filter panel to inspect the active conditions.
Save a filter you use often
A preset is a named set of filter conditions that you can apply again.
- Select Add quick preset.
- Enter a name, such as My pending work.
- Choose Include or Exclude under Apply as.
- Select the fields and values to save. For this example, include Assignees: Me and Status: None, Accepted.
- Select Save. Select the new preset button to apply it.
Use the preset's menu to edit or delete it. Deleting a preset removes the shortcut, not tickets. The deletion message offers Undo.
Presets are saved for the current review in your browser. They are not shared team settings and do not automatically appear on another device. A preset using Me follows the account currently signed in.
Group your results
Open the Display control and choose Group by to organize the tickets that remain after filtering. Grouping changes their arrangement; it does not change their status or assignment.
For example, group by Status to see work at different stages, or by Priority to work through importance levels. Expand a collapsed group to see its tickets. Where available, switch between the list and board layouts.
Why is a ticket missing?
Check these in order:
- Review mode: Critical Issues and Highlights show subsets of the report. Choose Full Report for the broadest scope.
- Search and filters: clear the search and active filters, including Exclude conditions. Saved conditions may still be active when you return to a review.
- View and sheet: the floating panel in Drawings/Specs shows tickets for the current sheet or selection. Use Tickets to search across the review.
- Collapsed groups: expand the group containing the ticket.
- Project and review: confirm that you opened the correct document review.
If a saved preset reports unavailable filters, check its conditions against the current review scope.
Filters also affect spreadsheet exports when no specific tickets are selected. See Export tickets for selection and export rules.
