How to Review a QA/QC Request

Open the completed request, triage the issues, inspect referenced sheets, assign owners, and export findings when needed.

Once a request is complete, the review workflow becomes a ticket triage workflow. You are no longer in a conversational view; you are working through findings.

  1. Open the project and go to QA/QC.
  2. Wait until the request card shows View Results.
  3. Open the results screen and review the generated issues.
  4. Use grouping and filters to triage the issues by status, label, assignee, or other fields.
  5. Open the referenced sheet or PDF context when you need to verify a finding visually.
  6. Where you have edit access, assign owners and update ticket status or priority as needed.
  7. If your role permits, export tickets as an XLSX file. To share annotated source PDFs, use Download marked up PDFs.

The Tickets view supports list and Kanban triage. The Drawings view pairs findings with source PDFs when available. Use the source drawing and its surrounding notes to verify a finding before making a project decision.

Choose a view and review scope

Use Overview for the review summary, Tickets for list or Kanban triage, Drawings for sheet locations, and Overlays for comparisons. Use filters to narrow the findings within a view.

The review scopes show different subsets of the report:

  • Critical Issues focuses on nominated high-impact findings.
  • Highlights includes those findings and issues with Critical or High priority.
  • Full Report includes all detected findings, including lower-priority issues that may need verification.

Switch to Full Report and clear filters if an expected finding is missing. A smaller count can reflect the current scope or filters rather than a deleted finding.

Follow updates during review

While the review is open and connected, ticket updates are reflected in the mounted review views. If an assignment or status seems stale, check the connection and any error message, then reopen the review or use the offered recovery action. A pending edit is not confirmation that it was saved.

External collaborators with Can view have read access; Can edit permits review edits. Export controls can have additional access requirements. See Share a QA/QC review and Drawings and ticket boxes.
