Understand how Construction Administration moves RFIs and submittals between Procore and Autodesk.
Construction Administration (CA) connects a project's external Procore sources to one internal Autodesk destination. ArchiBoost can create eligible RFIs and submittals in Autodesk, keep linked items in sync, and, when enabled, copy closed Autodesk responses back to Procore. The Autodesk project remains the place where your team reviews and responds to the work.
CA has three project tabs:
- Dashboard shows the sync schedule, recent runs, item outcomes, and operation details.
- Inbox shows source items beside destination items, with their status and sync activity.
- Configuration holds the destination, sources, routing, due dates, and response settings.
New items enter sync only when they meet the configured assignment rules. For RFIs, the connected Procore account or an additional configured email must be Ball in court. For submittals, that account or a configured email must be actively assigned to review. Items already linked continue syncing. See RFI routing and Submittal review routing for the creation rules.
Use Sync changes in the Inbox or Sync now on the Dashboard to queue a run. You can also enable Automatic sync. A queued run is not confirmation that every item transferred: inspect the run and item outcomes for created, updated, unchanged, blocked, or failed work.
CA requires project permission and working Autodesk access. A missing destination connection sends you back to Configuration; a Procore source access problem appears as a warning so you can repair or remove that source.
