How to Request QA/QC

Upload a review package, configure its checks and notifications, and start the review from the intake wizard.

The QA/QC intake wizard gathers your package, check configuration, and notification recipients. You need permission to create a QA/QC request in the project. Its final Run QA/QC review action saves the request and starts the review. Uploading files or saving a draft alone does not start it.

  1. Open the project and go to QA/QC.
  2. Click New QA/QC Request.
  3. Choose the milestone and enter a clear request title.
  4. Add the drawing set PDFs and any separate specifications or Revit files that the wizard offers for your request. Follow the file requirements shown there.
  5. Wait for uploads, then configure the offered checks, presets, and add-ons. Firm-standard checks depend on your access.
  6. Choose the notification recipients.
  7. Review the summary and any credit or billing information when those screens are offered.
  8. Click Run QA/QC review. A billing, setup, or unreadable-pages notice may require action before kickoff. Check the confirmation and request status; if kickoff is blocked or fails, resolve the displayed issue before retrying.

Use one request per meaningful package or milestone, such as a DD set, permit set, or coordination review. That makes the resulting issues easier to interpret and compare later.

You can return to a saved draft to finish the package. Check which step and files are saved before continuing. The summary and billing steps can differ with your organization's access and configuration.

Request a quote

If you need a quote before arranging a review, use the QA/QC quote form. Describe the project scope, drawing-set size, specifications, budget, and timeline. Submit Get a quote and check the success message. A quote request contacts the team; it does not create or run a QA/QC review.
