Choose a code from the Code Library

Inspect code bundles, check jurisdiction and edition, and request access before using a code in a project workflow.

Use Code Library to see available bundles and inspect the sources they contain. Open it from your avatar menu. You can browse in map or grid view.

  1. Find the jurisdiction you need.
  2. Open the bundle to inspect its edition, State or Municipal designation, and included sources.
  3. Check whether the bundle is Unlocked. Use Request Access on a locked card when needed.
  4. Return to Projects, open your project, and select the bundle in the workflow you are using.

For Rus, choose the Code control below the message box before asking the question. Calculators select a bundle for their building inputs, and the zoning wizard asks for a bundle during intake. Access requests do not immediately unlock a bundle; check availability again after access is granted.

Check the source before asking

Match the edition and jurisdiction to the project. Inspect municipal documents for local zoning questions and the included state code sources for building-code questions. Where available, open a source link from the bundle drawer to inspect the original code.

The ArchiBoost Hints panel explains how to attach a code to chat and request a missing jurisdiction. Attaching a bundle gives Rus that source context; confirm the citations in its answer still match your intended source.
