Review fire ratings and plumbing requirements

Use the floor-plan panels to inspect fire-rating findings and required fixture counts.

Open a calculator's Floor Plans tab and select the plan to review. Complete room classifications and confirm the plan has synced before running checks.

Fire Ratings

Choose Fire Ratings in the floor-plan workspace. Review the walls and doors grouped by their recorded rating. The panel lets you test With sprinklers or Without sprinklers; a test setting that differs from the project's actual sprinkler setting is a hypothetical comparison. Run the check and inspect each finding and its location on the plan. A missing rating or model element can change the result; correct the source and rerun the check. Verify any required rating against the governing code and project conditions.

Plumbing Counts

Choose Plumbing Counts. The panel shows occupant loads by occupancy classification. If it says there is no occupant load, classify the rooms in Room Settings first. Choose Get fixture requirements to produce the Required Fixtures schedule. Review the occupancy rows, totals, ratios, rules, and citations. A question mark means the demand could not be resolved from the available inputs or rule; investigate it before using the total.

The schedule states minimum fixtures required for comparison. It does not count installed fixtures on the plan or certify that the bathrooms are accessible. Compare the schedule with the project's actual fixtures and verify local amendments separately.
