Inspect drawings and ticket boxes

Navigate a QA/QC drawing set and inspect the location of a finding in its source PDF.

Open a QA/QC review and choose Drawings to inspect findings alongside their source sheets. Use your current review scope and filters to control which findings are shown.

  1. Select a drawing from the list.
  2. Select a ticket associated with that drawing to inspect its details and location box when available.
  3. Use the PDF viewer's page navigation, zoom, and pan controls to read the drawing and surrounding notes.
  4. Compare the location with the finding's description before deciding on an action.

A location box helps you find the area the ticket refers to. It is not a replacement for checking the drawing, references, and surrounding context. Some findings have no usable box or source page.

The PDF page number can differ from the sheet number printed on the drawing. Check both when sharing a finding with another reviewer. If a ticket is missing, check your scope and filters in Review results.

If the PDF fails to load, check your connection and review access, then reopen the drawing. Edit controls depend on your review role; a shared viewer should not expect the same actions as an editor.
