Run and review a Code Summary

Fill required calculator inputs, run the available analysis, and check the saved result.

Open a project, choose Calculators, then open or create a calculator with the appropriate code bundle. A calculator has Input, Code Summary, and Floor Plans tabs. The Code Summary uses calculator inputs; Floor Plans has a separate save state.

  1. In Input, complete the building, story, space, and questionnaire fields that apply to your project. The app checks required questionnaire answers before a run.
  2. Choose Save and wait until the Input badge says Saved.
  3. Choose Run. In Run Calculator, select Code Summary and confirm. The run may show a pending or in-progress state before the result appears.
  4. Open Code Summary to review the output. Check each conclusion against its cited source and your current project inputs.

If Run reports missing required fields, return to Input, complete them, save, and try again. If the result is still running, wait for the status to change before starting another run. Changes to building inputs after a run should be followed by another run before you rely on the old summary.

A generated summary is a review aid. Confirm the selected code bundle, project conditions, and citations with a qualified reviewer before using it for a design or approval decision.
