Stage details in the browser, then confirm the target model and import them inside Revit.
Open Detail Library > Staged > Imports to manage staged details and review completed or failed imports. You can review and remove staged items in a browser. Running an import requires Archiboost inside a connected Revit 2025 or 2026 plugin, an open model, and permission to import details to Revit.
Stage details from the browser
- Open Detail Library > Browse and open a detail with a Revit source, or select several details.
- Choose Stage Import in the detail's actions or the selected-details action bar.
- Open Staged > Imports to review the items. Choose Refresh if the list has not updated.
Staging prepares an item for later import; it does not change a Revit model.
Import staged details
- Open Archiboost inside Revit with the intended model active, then go to Detail Library > Staged > Imports.
- Search by name or use All, Pending, Failed, and Completed to narrow the list.
- Use the row's import action, select rows and choose Import selected, or choose Import all to run eligible items in the current filtered list. Pending and failed items can run unless they have a preparation error.
- Review the confirmation's target model name, file path when available, and Revit version. Choose Import Now to proceed.
- Wait for the result and inspect the imported details in the model. Imports run one at a time.
Keep the same model active during the import. If the connection, permission, version, or open model prevents importing, resolve the message shown on the page before trying again. After a timeout or a warning that the result could not be saved, check the model before retrying: Revit may already have completed the action.
Import directly while browsing in Revit
Inside the plugin, detail actions show Import Now instead of Stage Import. Open a detail or select up to 25 details, choose Import Now, and confirm the target model. This runs the import directly. A failed direct import stops the batch; inspect the result before retrying remaining details.
Remove staged items
Use Remove selected for selected pending or failed items, or Remove staged for pending and failed items matching the current search and filter. Review the confirmation before removing them. Completed items are retained by these actions. Removing a staged item does not undo a model import or delete the source detail from the library.
